byron rienstra.

founder & managing director. 

Byron has worked in leadership advisory, talent and change management for over 25 years. An award-winning post-graduate of the London School of Economics renowned Institute of Social Psychology, he possesses extensive experience driving positive change with organisations and individuals across the globe including London, Sydney, Singapore and Seoul. A profoundly engaged coach, facilitator and provocateur who has worked with multiple founders and C-suite clients, Byron loves people who want the impactful change that genuine honesty affords.


Byron loves nothing more than a bike ride with his family along the Brisbane River, followed by a cheeky flat white and some smashed Avo. He has also been known to find profound insights reading Dr Seuss and Julia Donaldson... 


simon fernyhough.

Simon has been Singapore-based for 16 years, and has held the role of Chief Operating Officer for 25 years in various guises. Spanning four different global firms, across nine different businesses, as partner and trusted advisor to twelve different CEOs. Simon has a proven ability to devise and execute strategies that build efficient and profitable enterprises. Simon has a reputation for integrity, authenticity, and combines a structured and rigorous mind with a keen interest in what makes people tick. He has a long standing interest in spirituality, and a keen advocate of meditation.  Simon loves nothing more than working with people who, like him, enjoy exploring what it means to be human, and achieving individual and collective potential in a thoughtful and practical way.

Jo has a passion for supporting, encouraging and engaging individuals throughout her career as a qualified educator, sports coach and enthusiast. With many years experience teaching in the UK and Singapore, she now calls Brisbane home, where she lives with her husband and three very active boys. Joanna recently completed a Masters in Education from the Queensland University of Technology, which has ignited a newfound interest in research within the potential and performance space. Joanna enjoys triathlons, family time but also escaping from it all with a good book!

Dr Kellie has worked for over a decade with elite athletes across the globe, supporting them to reach medal-winning and record-breaking performances at Olympic and Commonwealth Games. A graduate of The University of Queensland’s School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences, Kellie also has leadership experience working in a social enterprise driving change. Kellie is passionate about empowering people with the knowledge and practical strategies to live as their best (healthiest) selves. She brings her diverse experience and skillset from elite sport into the world of business, to enhance the health and wellbeing of senior leaders enabling them to perform optimally in work and in life.


When she’s not out running, cycling, or swimming, Kellie loves indulging her passion for good coffee, discovering new restaurants, and travelling all corners of the globe.


toby ouvry.

Toby is mindfulness coach and trainer, and the author of the book ‘Engaged Mindfulness – What mindfulness is and how we can apply it to our daily lives’. His passion is empowering people and organizations to greater levels of capability, effectiveness, creativity and wellbeing through the applied practice of mindfulness and meditation.

He has been practicing and teaching meditation and mindfulness since 1993. As the founder of Integral Meditation Asia he delivers mindfulness programs to both the public and corporate sectors. He currently facilitate the mindfulness program for the MBA, staff and faculty at the INSEAD School of Business, Singapore campus. He is a committed mindfulness writer, and the author and creator of over twenty practical workshops and courses on the subject.

His original training was as an artist and creative. After graduating he spent ten years doing his basic training in meditation and mindfulness, specializing in the Tibetan Tradition which included five years as an ordained Buddhist monk.

His coaching combines practical mindfulness and meditation techniques from three sources:

  • The world’s great wisdom traditions
  • Cutting edge practices that are currently emerging from contemporary psychology and neuropsychology
  • His own ongoing practical and creative experience as a mindfulness practitioner, business owner and entrepreneur.

Stephen is an experienced business leader with an international reputation.  He acts as a coach and consultant to boards and C-Suite leaders, with a particular focus on start-up, creative, and high-growth businesses. Stephen is also an experienced Non-Executive Director and Board Chair, with Remuneration, Nomination, Finance, and Risk Committee responsibilities.  He is Chair of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) the leading global professional body for Enterprise Risk Management, and Chair of Kent Savers, a regional UK credit union.


Stephen has over 30 years’ international experience of Human Resources and Organisation Development practice and leadership, primarily in global financial services and in both private and public sectors. He started his professional career as a banker before doing an MBA at London Business School and transitioning into HR.

Toby Jenkins is a leadership coach, Olympian and award winning entrepreneur and author.  His purpose is to help people bring all of who they are to everything they do.  He’s worked with Olympic medalists, investors, founders, CEOs and leaders – individually and as teams.  From leadership to wellbeing, Toby loves helping leaders and their teams work with the pressure that inevitably comes with important decisions, difficult conversations and ambitious opportunities.  He helps them work towards their greatest impact and to be the person they want to be in the process.  Toby has spoken to thousands of people in live and broadcast audiences around the world at organisations such as Ernst & Young and the Australian Institute of Sport.  He’s married to Lucy and father to Beatrix, Heidi and Zoe.

Tamara returned to Singapore after a decade building businesses across Eurasia.  A multi-disciplinary Business Manager, her experience spans energy, financial services and fund management, covering trading floors in London, New York and Asia.  She coaches clients including social enterprises and corporate decision makers for scale. She is an advisor to the Official Monetary & Financial Institutions Forum, a London-based think tank, and CarbonBlue Innovations, a Blockchain venture builder.  Tamara is involved with organisations and causes that are focused on equality and education, including sitting on the Board of Conjunct Consulting, South East Asia’s first social change consultancy, and is a member of the UNDP’s Private Sector Advisory Group and UNESCAP’s Infrastructure Financing and Public-Private Partnership Network of Asia and the Pacific.

Sophie, based in Brisbane, majored in Public Relations & Communication at the University of Queensland.  Sophie is a driven communications professional with in-depth knowledge navigating the new-age economy, and digital platforms that inspire greater employee engagement. Bringing with her the proven ability to engage teams and build stakeholder engagement through digital platforms, and creative concepts.   Apart from madly loving dogs, fiction novels and her obsession 'to experience it all' , Sophie loves to build lasting organisational communities of 'brand lovers'. She does this through dynamic and omni-channel initiatives that connect leadership, employee engagement, and organisational passion.

Ashley is a Senior Executive and Commercial Lawyer with over 25 years’ experience working across transport, energy, infrastructure and water sectors. He has held senior leadership roles with large international corporations  as well as pivotal positions as Senior Executive Director within government.   He is skilled in leading teams that develop and deliver large scale capital infrastructure projects by driving project wide execution focusing on continuous improvement and efficiencies across the value chain.

Anton believes in aligning organisational strategy, capability and people to bring exceptional and sustainable leadership performances to the worlds greatest organisations. Most of all, he thrives from enabling leaders to view their world from new perspectives, to inspire bold action on old problems. Anton draws from a diverse background in organisational transformation, executive development, talent management, change management, organisational development, project management, and now into the resources sector, where he is the Global head of Leadership & Development for BHP.

phil pemberton.  

Phil co-founded Pemberton Stewart in 2007 and has continued to build the Regional Fixed

Income business at the firm. Phil has completed senior mandates throughout the region across sales, trading, structuring and research and has completed several Regional Head roles for his clients. In addition he also leads Asian searches across all financial sectors. 


Prior to commencing his career in executive search Phil worked within the Structured Finance

Division of Deutsche Bank in London.

Gene is a dedicated Senior Executive, Senior Performance Psychologist and Academic with proven results in the areas of performance enhancement, health and wellbeing, leadership, operational management, organisational development, product and business innovation, and cultural change.



Gene's broad experience base has been cultivated within established and start up small-through-large public and private organisations operating across the globe. Positions within these companies have included Senior Executive, external consulting, and internal roles across a multitude of industries.
