leader wellness.
what is leader wellness?
The b.partners leader wellness programme is led by Dr Kellie Pritchard-Peschek, who has spent over a decade in international elite sport supporting athletes to medal-winning and record-breaking performances at the Olympics and global events. Dr Kellie, is also highly experienced supporting executives or 'corporate athletes' of the world to achieve sustainable workplace performance through optimised health and wellbeing.
Leader wellness believes that effectively leading others begins with leading ourselves. Our programme works to ensure leaders are in the best physical and mental health to give their best to their teams, with enough left to perform their own roles to their full capacity. At b.partners we know if we can enhance the health of our leaders now, we build resilient and productive workforces in the short-term, and support optimal health and career performance in the long-term, with benefits both leaders, teams and organisations alike.
Overall wellbeing directly affects work productivity, typically through presenteeism, which can be impacted by physical inactivity, poor sleep, high stress, and acute and chronic illnesses. Wellness has always been a key contributor to success in the workplace, however the effects of COVID-19 and the ongoing pandemic has only amplified the need for organisations to focus on this cause. Workplace wellness is about being equipped with the strategies to prevent the negative health consequences that come with pushing the boundaries of high performance, and maintaining health for long-term career success.
